Our apartment (Rental License 152523/AL) is 12 min walk down to the nearest beach and 17 min walk to Alvor village. The village is a lively place with lots of different types of restaurants, bars and shops to visit. There's a summer camp across the road too if you need a break from the kids A car is recommended but not essential. The airport is a 50 minute drive away using the motorway. A taxi from the airport and back again can be the same price as a rental car and there's lots of parking outside the complex so it's worth considering renting a car. The resorthoppa bus service runs from Faro airport also for roughly 10euro per person each way. It can take 90 minutes. There's a local supermarket just 10 min walk away for fresh bread and bits and pieces and there are several supermarkets a short drive away

I can't say enough good things about this place. The keys for the apartment and information on just about everything on the apartment and locality were given to us well in advance of flying to Portugal. From the first moment of entering the apartment, which couldn't have been easier to find from the directions given to us, we felt right at home. It was perfectly clean and had everything you could think of. We had 4 of us staying but it would sleep 6 people very comfortably and there's two toilets which was a god send! The bed was so comfortable, we're still longing for it since we came home. In the apartment there is just about every kitchen utensil you could think of, there's a big TV with loads of channels and an Xbox which was great for the mornings with a hangover or for when waiting for others to get ready before going out. I'd recommend Forza Racing on the Xbox for epic multiplayer battles to keep everyone entertained! There is also a fast wifi connection. The balcony overlooks the pool which was perfect for the days that we didn't feel like going to the beach. There's also a BBQ area which we made use of on one of the nights. It's got two big pits, one for meat and one for fish BBQing, a sink, tables and chairs and lighting if it gets dark. The beaches and town centre of Alvor is a short walk away and there are plenty of fantastic restaurants and bars to choose from. Just by the front door of the apartment the is a map of Alvor with the best restaurants and bars recommended on it. The only negative thing about the apartment and Alvor was having to leave it!
Our family of 5 persons stayed in this appartment the last week of July. I recommend this appartment for all of the following reasons: it was clean, very well equipped, well furnished, beds with good mattres, walking distance to beachs as well to town-centre, swimming pool area including toilets and showers with a person looking after the area whole day. The kids really enjoyed the pool and the X-Box. The owner responds quickly to all our questions and provides lots of information off the area. We have been several times in the Algarve but this value for money is hard to beat. Thank you Michael and till our next visitar to the Algarve.
Having just returned from A family holiday in Alvor we can highly recommend this amazing well located apartment. It has everything a family could require, very safe , spotlessly clean , spacious ,very tastefully decorated and excellent value for money. The whole booking process was great and the owner Michael was a true gentleman and it was a pleasure to deal with him. In the apartment you will find a lot of information of what to do , restaurants to go to and places to visit again very professionally done by the owner. We have two girls aged 16 & 10 years and the apartment was ideal for them , they loved the pool and chilling in the apartment after a crazy day at the beach.. Ideally located we walked into the town every night which was fab. A 10 out of 10 from us .. So a very big thank you Michael we look forward to returning back next year😄
